NHJGA Information

The New Hampshire Golf Association has structured the NHJGA Tour to:
Provide opportunities for junior golfer development through fair competition, while encouraging proper course etiquette and good sportsmanship through playing and enjoying the game of golf; to serve as a communications center for all junior golfers; to dedicate ourselves and our junior golfers to be the best they can be; to foster the growth and development of junior golfers by providing them with positive experiences through competitive and educational events; to help junior golfers make friends and have fun.

The New Hampshire Junior Golf Association Junior Tour is open to boys and girls over 10 and under 18 years of age as of 6-29-09 and not in college. Players must present an established USGA Handicap Index from a New Hampshire club that uses the NHGA’s handicap computation service, GHIN. The player's Handicap Index must not exceed the following limitations.
15.0 for A division boys (15-17 yrs.)
18.0 for B division boys (13-14 yrs.)
There is no handicap index limit for BIRDIE and FEMALE participants. However, participants who can't break 65 for 9 holes should not be playing in these events.
