Slope and Course Rating
The NHGA utilizes the USGA system for determining Slope and Course ratings for any club that needs or wants to be rated. Our Slope Team consists of nine volunteer raters who will rate your course or audit a previously determined rating to check its accuracy. Additionally, the NHGA has laser equipment that the Slope Team uses to measure the length of your course from all sets of tees, as well as sprinkler heads and 150-yard markers.

Scholarship Funding
The NHGA is an annual contributor to the McDonough Scholarship Foundation, which awards college scholarship money to deserving high school students who have worked in some capacity at any New Hampshire golf club. Additionally, the NHGA contributes annually to the Friends of UNH Golf, which supports the University of New Hampshire Golf Team

Rules of Golf Seminars
The NHGA is the Rules of Golf Authority in New Hampshire. In addition to interpreting the Rules, the NHGA conducts seminars during winter months and also by request to clubs throughout the year. Professionals are awarded credit hours for participation.

Course Markings
If a club has questions or would like suggestions on how an area should be marked, a staff member will come to the club and offer recommendations.

The NHGA would like to hear your thoughts, opinions, and suggestions on how we can better serve you as a member course, club, or individual golfer.  Please email your feedback to clancy@nhgolf.com .
